Health Check from Brother Brother's guide to Digital Marketing

Here’s our beginner’s guide to digital marketing:
Your Website
You probably already have a website up and running, but if not then now is a good time to set one up. This is easier than you think especially with the good website builders now available for small businesses including, Wix, Squarespace and Godaddy.
If you already have an existing website it is important that it’s regularly updated with the correct and relevant information for your customers including product descriptions and prices, your contact information, etc.
Be sure to remove old information and product details. Showing details for machines that were discontinued 10 years ago can give a bad impression to customers and can be detrimental to the way search engines, such as Google, position you in search results.
To help you keep your website up to date, you can find and download current product and accessory images from the partner portal area of our website.
Good Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is also key to increase traffic to your website and to improve its search engine ranking. Make a start by keeping the website up to date making sure that all of the links work. While this does not give instant results, it’s worth the effort as it can have a big impact on your unpaid results in web searches.
There are lots of other ways to improve the SEO of websites, too many for this short guide, but a quick search on the web can help you find advice and training, both free and paid.
